Cloud Deployment and Types

In cloud deployment, we refer to the way a cloud platform is implemented, how it is hosted, and who has access to it. All cloud computing deployments work the same way by virtualizing the computing power of servers into segmented, software-driven applications that provide processing and storage capabilities.

Types of Cloud Computing Services

Software as a service (saas):

Most people are familiar with SaaS, or software as a service. SaaS, at the top of the pyramid, is a fully-developed software solution that can be purchased and used on a subscription basis over the Internet.

Examples of SaaS: Exchange, MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel), SharePoint, Oracle E-Business, PeopleSoft, Siebel, Hyperion, Microsoft Dynamics, IBM Lotus Notes, SalesForce, QuickBooks, Unified Communications, Security, Antivirus, Firewall, Spam Filtering, Content Filtering, Network Monitoring & Management, Exchange, MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel), SharePoint, Oracle E-Business, PeopleSoft, Siebel, Hyperion, Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Dynamics, IBM Lotus (Cloud).

Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)

IAAS

Among all cloud computing services, IaaS is the most comprehensive and versatile. This software provides a completely virtualized computing infrastructure that is managed and provisioned via the Internet. IaaS providers manage the physical end of the infrastructure (servers, storage space, etc.) in a data center, but they also allow customers to fully customize those virtualized resources according to their specific requirements.

Examples of IaaS:  Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Cisco Metacloud, Google Compute Engine (GCE).

Platform as a service (PaaS) provides the framework for building, testing, deploying, managing, and updating software products. The basic infrastructure is the same as IaaS, but it includes operating systems, middleware, development tools, and database management systems for creating software applications.

Examples of PaaS:  AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Apache Stratos, Google App Engine, Microsoft Azure.

Platform-as-a-Service_PaaS

Often termed “serverless computing,” FaaS allows customers to execute code on-demand without having to allocate processing resources ahead of time. With the cloud provider handling the infrastructure, the customer can focus only on developing and deploying applications.  As a result, FaaS is the purest form of “pay-as-you-go” cloud computing.

Examples of FaaS: AWS Lambdas, Azure Functions.

By migrating to the cloud or moving your workload to the cloud, your business will achieve better scalability, reliability, and redundancy. In partnering with World’s leading Cloud Service Provider, as an added benefit we offer our customers with increased availability and provisioning of your assets and applications across your entire organization from any location.

Cloud Migration is our expertise and we can help you to migrate to public clouds or private clouds, multi-clouds, or hybrid clouds since we are cloud vendor agnostic. Based on customer requirements, our team develops a cloud migration strategy that identifies the most cost-effective offering. The cloud model that we select is dependent on the cloud environment and type of data.

Our approach to a cloud migration assessment varies depending on a variety of factors, including the type of migration required and the resources required to migrate the project. We also assist customers with migration planning and secure migration, ensuring your cloud instances are protected from hackers.

It is the focus phase where we gather and analyze the data using cloud assessment tools to generate an reports based on the current state landscape, identify solutions for migration, opportunities for optimizing the cloud, risks involved, and the future plans to align with the business vision of our clients.

In this phase we set up future state architecture and migrate smaller workloads to enable buy-in on migration. Implement CAD Gulf accelerators and frameworks, tune them for maximum process efficiency, and establish a scalable framework. This will result in enhanced efficiencies in subsequent phases.

In this phase we consider the client’s priorities & dependencies before migrating. Migrate the applications & dependent workloads to target architecture. Validate & Certify the migration and fix all issues. Testing and cutover will be covered in this phase.

In this phase we managed full automated cloud model through single pane of glass.

Cloud migration service providers are a boon to any business, whether it’s a corporation, a healthcare organization, a financial institution, or another industry. Because of the flexibility and convenience they provide, cloud-based solutions are quickly gaining traction among businesses. With so many alternatives available for so many different applications, finding the correct answer can be difficult at times. Dont worry our team will help you and guide you through the entire process.

Unlike other service providers, we do not ask for access to your existing environment at any level.

Below are the only things we ask for:

For Cloud – You will need to send us the last two or three months’ billing information. The level of optimization we can provide will be determined by the information we receive.

For On-Prem   – The customer must provide a physical and logical diagram of their network. The diagram should include the current configuration of the hardware.

We monitor the cluster for at least a month once the implementation has been completed to adjust autoscale policies and reserved instances.
