The following steps can be taken to block YouTube through SonicWall firewall

Step 1: Log in to the SonicWall administration interface.

Step 2:Select Security Services > Content Filter from the drop-down menu. Step 3: To view the SonicWall Filter Properties box, click the Configure button under Content Filter Service.

Step 4: Check the box to enable it. HTTPS Content Filtering should be enabled.

Step 5: In the Custom List tab, add the website link for YouTube (youtube.com) to the Forbidden Domains list. The host’s name can also be provided in a policy-based Custom List, depending on the CFS deployment.

Step 1: Go to the Firewall tab.

Step 2: To add a firewall rule, click + Add Firewall Rule.

Step 4: Fill in the following fields:
Block is the name of a type of block. Chrome is king on YouTube.
Action: Drop
Source Networks and Devices: ANY Source Zones: LAN
Zones of Destination: WAN
NETWORKS OF DESTINATIONS: ANY (or specify IP range or group used by Google)
Services: Make a brand-new service.
Protocol: UDP Destination Port 443, Source Port 1:65535

Step 5: Save the file.
