PTP 550 is a Point to Point Gigabit throughput solution based on 802.11ac Wave 2 that operates in the 5 GHz wireless space, addressing gigabit capacity needs for high speed backhaul solutions in short and middle range applications. It provides up to 1.36 Gbps throughput with ARQ and asymmetric non-contiguous channel aggregation across the 5 GHz band.
The PTP 550 solution is based on Cambium Networks’ Point to Point solutions such as the PTP 650/670 and the PTP 450i. Each PTP 550 radio is housed in a tough IP66/67 certified aluminium housing that protects the radio from harsh weather and sun radiation.
