Description
The Aruba 501 Wireless Client Bridge makes it simple to add devices to a wireless LAN that don’t have native wireless capabilities (WLAN). It protects the network from intruders with robust enterprise-class multilayer security capabilities, including an IEEE 802.1X supplicant. Up to 15 Ethernet client devices running a legacy networking protocol can be connected to the WLAN via the 501 Wireless Client Bridge.
Wireless mobility is provided via this bridge for devices such as electronic cash registers, scales, servers, printers, medical equipment, and other devices. It can be installed in any location with a WLAN signal, saving time and money on the installation of Ethernet cables for wired network access.The Aruba Mobile First solution arch includes the 501 Wireless Client Bridge.
